- קָלוֹןII m. (קָלָה II) combustion. Num. R. s. 11 (play on קלין, Prov. 3:35). ירימו בחלקם ק׳ … לאש they shall carry off combustion as their share, because finally they will go into fire; ואין ק׳ אלא שריפהוכ׳ ḳalon means burning (ref. to Jer. 29:22).B. Bath.99b בית הק׳, v. קִילוֹן.
